Monte Jewell is a staff attorney with the Sexual Violence Law Center. With more than 20 years of experience in the gender-based violence field, Monte has worked professionally in multiple capacities on behalf of survivors in Montana, California, and now Washington. He joins SVLS from the King County Coalition Ending Gender-Based Violence, where he was project coordinator for finalizing the Coalition’s Family Law Toolkit and the Domestic Violence and Mental Health Collaboration Project. Monte was previously the executive director of the Fresno-based Resource Center for Survivors of Sexual Assault. He currently serves on the Montana State Ethics Committee. Monte received his Bachelors from California State University and his J.D. from University of Montana.
