As thePro Bono Program Director for The Florida Bar Foundation, Claud works to foster pro bono relationships and collaborations with bar associations, law firms, courts, law schools, legal aid organizations and other groups. In this statewide role, Claud serves as a resource for low-income Floridians, pro bono lawyers, and more than 30 civil legal aid organizations. Claud travels the state and country to present on the importance of pro bono work and ease of access to pro bono cases.

Prior to his work with the Foundation, Claud served as an assistant district attorney in Boston, Massachusetts, and as an assistant state attorney in Florida’s 7th judicial circuit. He also served as assistant city attorney for several Central Florida municipalities and carried a civil case load primarily consisting of family law, estate planning, and landlord tenant disputes. During his time in private practice, he had the opportunity to volunteer extensively as pro bono counsel for several legal aid organizations in Central Florida as well as to provide pro bono services independently to his own clients.
