Jennifer Luczkowiak (she/her) is an attorney and Director of Resource Development at Prairie State Legal Services (PSLS). PSLS provides free civil legal services to vulnerable populations throughout 36 counties in northern and central Illinois. In her role, Ms. Luczkowiak participates in the executive management of PSLS’s programs. Specifically, she oversees all grant acquisition, grant management, and fundraising efforts from federal, state, and local governments, United Ways, foundations, and individual and corporate donors for PSLS’s $20M budget. Previously, Ms. Luczkowiak served as Project Director of the Legal Help for Homeowners Project at PSLS, which provided legal counsel and representation for homeowners and tenants facing foreclosure. Before arriving at PSLS, Ms. Luczkowiak worked for the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley serving homeless and runaway youth as an Equal Justice Works Fellow and Staff Attorney. She received her B.A. from Northwestern University and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now University of California College of the Law, San Francisco). Ms. Luczkowiak lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, two sons (13yo and 11yo), and daughter (7yo). jluczkowiak@pslegal.org
