This year’s conference includes a special focus on Racial Justice, Diversity, and Inclusion Programming. Workshops that will address this overarching theme include [RJ] after the session title.
This session will feature an interactive conversation among NLADA staff and others with the audience around a number of current developments related to civil legal aid. Among the issues to be discussed will be: (1) LSC legislative and regulatory matters; (2) implementation by LSC of new census data for basic field grants; (3) presidential appointments to the LSC board; (4 ) non-LSC federal funding; (5) Cy Pres litigation in the United States Supreme Court; (6) Public Services Loan Forgiveness; (7) pro bono and ATJ developments; (8) Justice for All grants; and (9) other matters of interest to providers of civil legal assistance.
