This workshop will introduce you to the Association of Pro Bono Counsel (APBCo) and discuss how legal services advocates can most effectively partner with large law firm pro bono programs in the immigration arena. The session will give examples of how law firms work together to coordinate resources and how nonprofit organizations can engage with this broader network to access pro bono volunteers and other support. The workshop will also cover substantive issues in immigration from this perspective, including family separations, Matter of A-B-, and other developments.
