Reimagining Legal Help: Using Design Thinking to Better Serve Clients-Part 1

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This 2-part session is limited to first 24 attendees. As public interest lawyers, our aim is to help our clients who are usually facing insurmountable barriers and legal issues. Throughout our work for them, we aim to meet their needs. Yet, the problems that they are facing can be exceedingly complex and challenging, and at times we build solutions that meet our needs and not necessarily those of our clients. Design Thinking is a methodology that uses empathy as a base for developing a possible solution to address a problem that clients may be facing. Join us in this hands-on session aimed at demonstrating how design thinking works and how we can reimagine how we provide legal help to clients. You’ll work with others from across the country and, who knows, together you might create a prototype that will be the new standard in client services.
